TEEN FOCUS IS ABOUT "CREATING BEAUTY FROM THE INSIDE OUT"
As an educator and parent, it is my duty to deliver a positive message to teens and young adults and as the Teen Focus President, I plan to promote:

- school success
- character education
- career awareness
 
These are the three major components to a successful future. My plan is to showcase teens and young adults that consistently demonstrate positive behavior and good choices in a positive light. Hopefully, this will encourage other teens to follow suit. Moreover, I would like to see teens/young adults place value on morality and academic achievement.
 

TEEN FOCUS PROGRAMS OFFERED
Please note: All programs are based on attaining required minimum enrollment numbers. 

Who can join Teen Focus Programs?
Females
Ages:  11 years—24 years old
NOTE:  You will be directed to the Online Club page to enroll in all Teen Focus programs.

PLEASE NOTE: There are no physical requirements to join Teen Focus Programs, & all programs are offered based on attaining required registration numbers.  Classes may be conducted in groups or as one-on-one sessions.

1. Summer Charm School - 2 week summer sessions program/sign-up online.  Summer lessons will cover: school success, character education/ career awareness and personal development. A presentation will conclude each 2 week session. [ENROLL]

2.  Super Role Model Pageant  - a glamorous celebration of good choices and positive behavior/sign-up online.  Judging criteria is based on personal stories & triumphs. Recommendation letters from school staff and grades will be required. Pageant modeling instruction offered.  [ENROLL]

3.  Club Teen Focus Online Membership – an online educational & fashion resource for members. Members can participate in online activities and contests. Members will receive academic & career information online. [ENROLL]

Teen Focus Modeling/Fashion Classes

-Modeling, runway and posing  techniques & routines learned

-Fashion Industry information workshops & training

-Beginning & Advanced classes offered for all levels such as young adult, high school & middle school

SUPER STUDENT AWARDS EVENT
No cost to nominees or nominators.
***For males & females ages 10-24***
-This is an annual event that recognizes and rewards students for good choices and positive behavior
-Students are nominated by (only one nomination is needed) school staff, church leader, employer, anyone that can evaluate nominee's character
-All nominators will need to provide Mrs. Scott with specific contact information.

Below are the subjects & judging categories. Nominators must complete an online application and choose a category (based on your nominee's story) such as:
---Student Success-grades/attendance/ discipline/student activities  
---Character Education-respect for self & others/kindness/selflessness/sacrifice/
attitude/follows rules & regulations, etc.
---Career Awareness-has a solid plan for their future/understands what it takes to achieve career goals/on a path to reach career goals
---Teen Focus Volunteer Award-
Mrs. Scott & Teen Focus representatives will nominate these individuals.
 
The Teen Focus Super Student Awards Event is similar in style and format to the television awards shows.
